THE WHAT? Kao has announced that, following a proposal submitted to the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency, its Space Laundry Sheet and 3D Space Shampoo Sheet have been selected for adoption and will be used onboard the International Space Station (ISS) from 2022.
THE DETAILS The Space Laundry Sheet is designed to remove dirt, stains and odors from clothing while the 3D Space Shampoo Sheet allows users to wipe dirt and sebum from the scalp and hair without recourse to water, which is a precious resource in outer space.
