THE WHAT? Pola Orbis has announced a series of personnel and organizational changes as it reshuffles its leadership team. Naotaka Hashi, previously General Manager of the Corporate Communications Division is set to take on a new, additional role of Corporate Officer in Charge of PR, IR, CSR and Sustainability.

THE DETAILS Meanwhile, Takahiro Tabata of the Management Planning Division will now be Corporate Officer in charge of Legal & Administration, General Manager of Administration Division.

Ken Horikawa, Corporate Officer in charge of Finance and Legal & Administration General Manager of Finance Division, is set to retire.

Naoki Kume, Akira Fujii, Miki Oikawa and Koji Ogawa have all been given new supervisory roles, as Director and VP in charge of Finance, Director in charge of Legal & Administration, PR, IR, CSR and Sustainability, Senipr Corporate Officer in charge of Group Diversity and Corporate Officer in charge of Management Planning, IT, HR and Business Development respectively.

THE WHY? The group has set up a Business Development Division in order to expand its future business portfolio and is upgrading and specializing the company’s corporate functions, dividing the Legal & Administrative Division into two units to respond flexibly to changes in the business environment and deliver additional value to the business.
